truck noob

Hey all, little bit about myself!

I'm a 24, nearly 25, y/o web developer in the Philadelphia area. I've been into cars since an early age, grew up around a grandfather and uncle that had and fixed various vehicles.

I'm currently driving an 05 SRT-4 that I love autocrossing with the SCCA in.

I recently test drove an 04 Lightning and loved it. Driving the truck only reminded me of my secret love for the classic pick up trucks and hot rods in general. I though to myself, myself... instead of buying a "performance truck"... why not build one to your own style and tastes.

And that is what I'm hear to do. I've never done a project like this, I don't expect it to be easy, or cheap. As far as turning a wrench... I change my oil regularly, i've installed a wastegate and boost controller on my car... that's about it.

This project is intended to be a learning experience, and for me to create something I've wanted for a number of years now. I've found myself two 69 chevy stepside c/10's that I'm looking into... I hope to make the big purchase this weekend... so you guys will see me over in the 67-72 section

So... HI!
