Converting stock AC to orafice tube and acumulator??

Anyone tryed this using the stock evaporator?? I've seen picture of some trucks with an acumulator and orifuse tube, but not sure if there is a budget way of doing it. I figure i'll need just an acumulator off a 75 or 78 chevy and a retrofit orafice tube kit. Am i wrong??

If this can be done, what to do with the pressure valve tube that is built into the stock evaporator??

ttt
