Need Advice

I was hoping to get some advice from you guys on putting vintage air in my 70 c-10. If I don't order my system by March 31st the price goes up $150 because of their price increase.

I have a 327 in my truck now that is great but when it gives up down the road I plan on upgrading to the new 5.3L and a 4l60e or a LQ9. So my question, do I get the A/C now or do I wait it out for the new motor?

Has anyone had a vintage air system with the older engine and then converted it to work with the engines of today? I just don't want to buy it now to save a $150 and then turn around a couple years later and have to spend three times that converting it to work with a newer motor. But then again if I can save $150 now and it only costs me $150 down the road to convert it over I would get it now.

Thanks Guys
