Raw gas smell

I have a 78 GMC 1 Ton Dually with dual gas tanks. All tanks, lines, fuel pump and componentes are new, but have a strong raw gas smell in the cab while driving. (Not when idling or parked)
Engine is a small block 400 with a holley carb and holley headers.
All rubber lines from the tanks to the carb are new.
Thought that it might be the vents at the sending unit, so I plugged it, but it still smells. The only thing not new are the sending units.
Thanks for any help
