4x4 dually front axle question

im looking at converting my wrecker to 4x4, so i have a couple questions about dually 4x4s...

#1 did any dually 4x4s come with a cheapy axle? im not looking to 4-wheel this thing or put huge tires in it, so a dana 44 or corp axle would be fine for some extra pulling power going through the feild as long as i could put dually wheels on it

#2 did ford make any dually 4x4s with leaf sprung straight axles? i hate like heck to put a ford axle in my truck, but at the same time my PTO output is on the passanger side, so it would be much easier to put a drivers side front driveshaft in to not have to modify any of the wrecker parts

thanks in advance!
