is it worth to replace my TH350/NP203 with a 700R4/NP208

been thinking about finding a 700R4/NP208 or NP241 pullout from a newer truck and swaping it for my TH350/NP203. my TH350 is only 1 year old and the transfer case works fine, i want overdrive and cant stand how the NP203 is full time 4wheel drive. ive heard the NP208 and NP241 are kinda sissy cases and cant take much abuse even tho they are chain driven just like the NP203. i would LOVE an NP205 but i think the cheapest way to do this swap is to find a 700R4 with NP208 and the driveshafts from a newer truck. is this swap worth it or is this newer combo not as strong as my current setup? thanks
