My day with the H/VAC system

My entire day today was spent working on my truck. First, I washed it (wow it sparkles!!!) and then replaced my Voltometer from the one in the cluster I picked up from the swap meet. It works!!! The oil pressure doesn't though.. the sender must be bad or this gauge is bad too. I'll replace the sender next.

The demon H/VAC system was next. I took my dash off and ripped every hose & tube leading to a vent out. I left the core in (heater, A/C & fan) and found out why my system wasn't working right. There is a plastic arm that positions the main door that snapped. The only plastic moving piece broke (didn't doubt it would be plastic). My defroster didn't work very well and the vents stayed on when it was in the heater position. This will fix it. If you have the same problems I do, open your sytem up and replace this plastic @$%#. At least it wasn't a vaccuum diaphram.
