Need Help
I switched out clusters and now my temperature gauge pegs out at extreme hot when I turn on the key and stays there. I thought it might be the new cluster so I placed the old one back in and it does the same thing. Has anyone had this happen or know how I can fix it?
Also, I replaced my amp meter with a volt meter. I thought i could connect the positive side to the printed circuit and ground out the negative side with a wire to a ground on the truck, but when I test the printed circuit with my volt meter it doesn't show any power going to the amp meter location on either side of the printed circuit. Should there be 12 volts going to the original amp meter location or do I just need to run 12 volts from a different location to the volt meter? Thanks in advance for any help. I am trying to get the cluster back in so I can drive it to work tomorrow.
