Tips for the new guy

I want to take the truck out to the new strip in El Paso. It will be my first time at a regulation strip.

I have 94 LT1 with headers and some mods in the compter. 4L60E, 3.73's and a posi, leaf springs.

Should I let it idle or runit up a bit before the launch? Manual shift or let the computer do it?

I'm running 255/70/15 Big O's.

Any other advice I need?

Thanks
