anyone put coilovers in the front??

I got a '67 chevy with a big block, I am lowering it 4-5" in the front and want to put some QA-1's or similar fully adjustable coilovers in the front.. but i don't want to reinvent the wheel here..
anyone do this before? I want to make this thing launch good and I think coilovers that are fully adjustable would help! (i already have ones for the rear)
if anyone has photos of brackets or part numbers of which shocks (lengths) i should most likely get would be a super great help!!
