air valve and air line question

I ordered 8 1/2 inch valves for my truck front/back/side/side and i was gong to just use the d.o.t. line but then i changed my mind i am goin to hard line it with stainless line i can go 1/2 inch line just didnt know how difficult it would be to bend it so my question is would it be a waist of 1/2 inch valves with 3/8
line and wanting opinions on nitrogen vrs. compressors like two viarr 480 with a 5 gallon tank or something like that i would really like yalls opinion on this first truck to bag
