454 with f*rd 9in what gears?

Hey guys,
Currently i am having a guy build a BBC for me. He knows his **** seeing as he was a NASCAR mechanic and is now building engines for a few local drag cars along with being a Por$*a race team crew chief.

He is setting me up with a 454 .040 over with 4340 crank H beams and forged 10.5-1 KBs. I have a set of new Dart 308/119cc iron heads/roller rockers and were still thinking about the flat tappet cam specs. I also have a Weiand teamG with a Quick fuel Q-series 850. With a small 200 shot of squeeze to really impress the damn SoCal rice burners.

My big debate is what gear should i throw in the F*rd 9in? have 31 spline and narrowed 2in each side so i can stuff some 12in+ in the back. was thinking about 3.89 cause i will be doing a lot of freeway driving but a 4.10/11 would be really nice to play with..

Any suggestions would help thanks guys.

Should have mentioned TH 350 for now maby 400 in the future
