Few Questions

I was looking at a junkyard the other day for a fender, and hood for my truck. This guy told me I could have the pretty strait fender for 75$, and hood for 75$, I told him I would probably come back and he told me to go to a place down the street because they recently got alot of the 67-72 pickups. I went down there and asked the manager for a left fender and he told his worker to go back there and look and he told him they are $50-$100 depending on the condition. I went back there with him and found a pretty good looking one from a cst/10 (with the trim on it) and asked the worker how much it would be for it and he asked the manager...the manager said 125$ for the fender, and I told him well "I can just go buy one brand new for that much" He said, "Yeah you won't find a better deal he said all the original fenders go for that much, and all the brand new ones are aftermarket and are no good because they don't fit as well."...

Is there really that much of a difference?

Is 125$ too much to pay for a pretty good fender (not perfect)? I do live in AZ...These were just a couple of the many places here in Phoenix. Am I better off going to the Yuma area to find steel panels for these trucks? I do need the fender, grille, hood, and bumper for my '69 shortbed. Anyone know of any good places with good prices here in Arizona.

Also, a fender from a '67/'68 (I can't really tell the difference, there's no small back window.) Wouldn't fit a 69' would it? Because I found one from a '67/'68 that was perfect but It won't fit on my '69 will it?

Thanks! all help is greatly appreciated!
