Low Buck came home on a flat bed! Need gauge help.

Yep thats right I was comming home from picking up an IRS set up for another project when my truck gave it up. Turns out the Alt. went bad and once my battery went low it all started acting funny and left me on the side of the freeway.

I did not know it was bad untill to late so now I guess I should get my voltage gauge working in the dash. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get my stock dash gauge working so I can tell when it is and is not charging?

Thanks for any help you might have.
