Hey guys, I've got a 1972 LWB C-10 that I bought a few years back with the intention of rebuilding it. Like a lot of these projects, this one never materialized and it is just sitting here. It has a 327 engine and Turbo 400 tranny in it and they both work, although the engine smokes a little. I go out every now and then and crank it just to keep it lubed up.
The cab has some pretty extensive rust issues, rocker panels, floorboards, and there is rust along the top of the windshield area. Someone good with a welder could probably fix this. The bed is good, hardly any rust, tailgate is good, doors are good, front fenders are good, one inner fender has some rust, the radiator support has a rust spot on it near where the battery sits. Frame is in pretty good shape, some surface rust. Frame has rear leaf springs. Bed, hood and fenders are "off" the truck right now.
This would be an outstanding parts truck and for the right person, a good project truck. I just don't have the time nor the inclination to mess with it anymore and I want it gone. I'm in central Georgia. If interested, PM me and I'll give directions. Bring your trailer and you can drive the truck up on it and be on your way.
