new guy from Wisconsin

Howdy guys, I am from wisconsin and am new to the site. I am currently working on a 68' chevy stepside that when I purchased it, the parts where scattered out between 3 farms. After 3 trips with the car trailer, I had it all home and started tearing into it. The truck was originally an orange 327/auto/4.10 truck, but since the motor and trans are long gone I am installing a 396/ 4 speed to power it. Some time in the late 70's or early 80's it was customized in CAL. and was painted metallic brown. The hood also received 120 louvers and the tail gate was also louvered. International scout taillights were even cut into the fenders. Maybe someone knows something about it? The site looks awesome and can't wait to get to know some of you guys.
