motor swap

I have a 67 chevy c 10 and it was an original 3 speed with a staight six. Now it is a 4spd witha 350 V8. When i did the swap i am unsure r u suppose to move the motor mounts to the forward holes in the frame. Also The mid croosmember the one that bolts to the bellhousing does that need to move forward also. Thanks much help appricated
