in bed tanks. Need opinions!!

have any of you guys put in a fuel cell in the bed of your truck instead of underneath? (Im sure some of you longbed guys have) I just got a fuel cell 12 gallon, I believe with all the attatchments and I was thinking of mounting in a bed box and moving the battery to the box as well. any ideas? pros? cons? opinions? thanks
Going in a 67 long wide 350/350 carburated.
Also whats that foam material inside the cell for? I got it from a swap meet, never used so I dont know the manufacturer. Its got anti slosh walls in it too
( at least I think thats what they are)Mainly around the sending unit.
