Heater Core / Install

I know that since i live in SOCAL i dont really need a heater (dam sure need an A/C ). But during my recent motor install i think i cracked one of the welds on the outlet lines from the heater core when i was replacing both hoses. Not much of a leak but enough for it to bother me.

Question : How much of a pain in the butt is it to replace? Any suggestions on making it easier to replace without me having to learn the hard way?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
