How to add a tach to a 99 S-10?
New to S-10's. I have a 2.2L 5 speed base model. I'd really like to add a tach to it. Has anyone done this? Where the heck do you hook up the wires? Everything has a cover on it, I can't even find the spark plugs
I've seen that I can buy a tach dash on ebay, but the mileage will be wrong, I kinda don't like that.... if I did go that route... again, how do I hook it up? Will the rest of the wiring plug in and work with the tach dash? Anyone mounted an aftermarket one (no giant ricer stuff, please ) Also, what's the redline for the 2.2L? I know this engine is a dog, but I've been wanting to own a manual again since I sold my 5 speed 86 toyota truck in '04 and now that I've got one, I kinda like watching a tach, stupid, I know, but I find myself looking at the ones in my silverado and C-10 a lot
