Wiper motor failure?
My wiper motor had enough guts to move the wiper blades back and forth on the windshield before I replaced the non-functioning washer pump. Once the new pump was in, the wiper motor would no longer move both arms back and forth.....I added a little water to the windshield and the wiper arms went back and forth...but as soon as it drys up, they stall again. Anyone ever have a wiper motor fail this way? I've checked the arms independently and there is no binding going on whatsoever..but there is a lot of drag with the dry blade on the windshield. I always thought a wiper motor would just stop working... period...
