The DRAG CAR that started it all for me - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

This was the DRAG CAR that got my "hot rod" juices going back in the '60's.

The famous "Stones, Woods & Cool Willys gasser was the first "favorite" drag car.... my dream car.

After all those years I finally had the chance to see this car "up close & personal at the Gasser Reunion at Thompson Raceway. because of this car and others (gassers) like it I have always been a big fan of the 60's - 70's gasser & altered cars.

Even though I never had the chance to own one of these cars I still find myself "drawn" to cars, trucks like this.

What about you???? What got you going???
