Question My holes won't line up!

I'm replacing cab mounts on my '71 K10. I did the drivers side first with no problem, but when I got to the passenger side the holes would'nt line up. I made sure to leave the bolts in the opposite side that I was working on so the cab would'nt shift, but something moved. Can I use a jack and a 4x4 to shift the cab or is there a better way? I also noticed the drivers side sits 1/2" lower than the pass. side. Is it o.k. to shim the cab that much on one side. I need help!
