Aftermarket lower control arms.. do I need them on my bagged truck??

I am just working on the front of my '67 chevy c10, and I have searched and read a lot about how my RE7's will rub when using just cups set into the front lower control arms.. should they be welded in or just set in?

would it be better to get aftermarket control arms.. who makes good ones for bagged trucks? I also have 2.5 ece drop spindles, I have also read that some control arms will not work with drop spindles, is this also true?

some advice would be great!!
