I finally finished my grill

It only took two weeks longer than what I thought, but I'm done. I just went and sprayed it off to see how close the color is compared to the rest of the truck. I think it is pretty close. I'm real happy with the way it turned out. Consider this little cell phone pic a teaser. I will get better pics up this weekend hopefully. [IMG][/IMG]

This is what it looked like when I drove it home.

And this might be a happy accident. This is what the trim bar looked like when it was prepped for paint. This is just placed up there--half hanging off. I was thinking that it would look good with the upper and lower little bars to remain polished and the big center part with those swirl marks (like an old school hotrod dashboard)I think I know how to do that with my drillpress. I think it could look really good on a black truck. An idea for my 87 maybe. I don't know, you have to use your imagination.[IMG][/IMG]
