A few brake and steering column questions...

Hey guys I got a few questions. I want to do a front disc brake conversion and tilt column on my 68 c-10. Would parts off of a 95 siverado 1/2 ton work for me? If not, what years would I need and what parts would I need exactly? There is this 95 silverado that this guy is parting out so I am thinking about buying the 700r4 tranny and the seats. Oh and 1 more question. I have a 3 speed saginaw, what parts from his tranny would I need? Bellhousing, driveshalf, linkages, anything else? Gonna start my restoration this Monday. Thanks in advance. Storm.
