Has anyone ever?

Is it possible to put a standard transmission behind one of the legendary big block Cadillacs? I may have a line on a cheap 500, and an nv4500, the two of which i would imagine would make a legendary combo. But what worries me is that when I looks at what other people have done everything i could find was an automatic, and they say you must use the Cadillac flexplate and torque converter regardless of what transmission you choose to bolt behind it with adapters. Can anyone tell me of a flywheel i could get for it?
