I Hate Smarts A.. People (rant)

Went to the tire shop today, needed a couple of rally's for my truck. As some of you know I just finished it. I did all the work myself, from frame off to paint. Now it aint special or professional, there is orange peel and body work is less than perfect, but I did it and am kinda proud of the fact that I did it all myself. Anyway The owners kid at the tire shop helped me, had about 6 sets of rally there, bought 2 wheels and he was bringing them over to my truck. Asked if I wanted them in the back, said yea I would mount them when I got the tires I needed. He tossd them into the bed and then said " I hope the guy who painted this is out of business, it looks like S**T."

I told him I was the one who painted it and yeah it wasn't professional, but it works for me. It got my temper flaring a little. He just walked inside and I paid for the wheels and left. What really gets me is the kid drives around a 56 chevy that is rattle canned with 3 different colors and looks bad, but nobody ever says anything about it out of politeness. I don't know I guess I was just in a bad mood and tired, and shouldn't really care, but it made me mad. Critisism is fine and I expect it, I guess that just took my by surprise.

Well I feel a little better now that I got that off my chest.
