Inside hood release vs standard hood release.

Pyrotechnic asked me to tell him what on the cable operated hood release was different, so i took some pics and compared my 77 c20 burb (454 th400, ac, cruise, heavy duty 3/4 (no egr) listing anything that could affect front clip) that had the standard hood release, vs my bros old 78 c10 (350, th350, ac, cruise, light duty half ton w/ egr)

The hood release on the cable actually releases to the passenger side, a standard release goes towards the back, and everything seems different.
