The integrated head engines may not look as good & stuff, but they actually get better MPG & if you do ditch the head for a "normal" one the bottom end is actually lighter on these engines

As for the cracking, as long as you keep em cool, they will be just fine

But Im prolly not going to wind up using that engine, I think Ima give it to my dad for his 67
Im thinking either a highly modified GMC V-6 or a modern day 4200 I-6

And I really think Ima run a manual trans, but if not it will be something like a 4l80E with paddle shift or the new 6-speed out of the Vette

The truck will eventually lay frame, but prolly for a while it will just be bagged
