Angry motor mounts

Hi folks:

I have a '69 Chevy C-10 SWB sitting in my backyard that my Dad has decided he wants to try to get going again. It does not have a motor in it, but it did have a V8 (which is now in my S-10). He has found a complete straight six he wants to buy, and I need to know the differences between the V8 and the 6 cylinder mounts. Is the piece that is mounted to the frame different, or the piece that mounts to the block? I have never had the opportunity to fiddle with a truck with and inline motor in it so any help would be appreciated.
Also would a TH350 that bolted to a smallblock also bolt to a straight six?
