I have a turbo 350 backed by a NP205 case. I believe that the 700r4 is based on the turbo350. Does that mean that it will bolt up in place of the t350? What about the 4l80. It's based on the turbo 400 isn't it? Will it bolt up to stuff that had a T400 in it?

What about the manual trannys? What will bolt in place of a SM465 tranny?

I'd really like to stay away from paying $1000 to Advanced Adapters in order to get overdrives...
