wiring harness resistor on a 67 K10

Hey, the engine is on, trannie too, pretty much everything except some body parts. I installed an MSD HEI dist, and the instructions say that i need to remove or by pass the resistor on the engine wiring harness, so where is this thing at?
The engine dont start, it cranks but dont start, theres no fuel getting to the carb what so ever and i changed the fuel pump. I figure out that for some reason if the outlet on the fuel pump is not tight the pump wont pump. The fuel pump is mechanical, Carter.

Thanks in advance.
