Another budget 5.3 build...

I wanted a taste of the fuel injection world, and the opportunity to buy a real cheap swap setup arose, so here I am. I want this to cost under 2k, which I think I can pull off. Engine is a 5.3 out of a rolled '05 truck with 4l60e. The combo has 37,000 miles, and I got to pick whatever I wanted from the truck...so I came home with a truck full of crap...hehe

My 1,300 mile 350 rebuild came out easily and was sold to a fellow board member-

And tomorrow I am starting on the new engine. Cleaning it up real good, making adapter plates, and maybe start test fitting. I'm planning on doing the wiring myself, and using the factory tank from the '05. The only mod it will really have at this point will be a tune.
