Another board newbie

Hiya guys, just wanted to say hi and show ya my super clean 84 GMC. She is not restored or repainted, 99.95% rust free, 52K original miles on her, and was garage kept prior to me buying her. She had a blown headgasget when we bought the truck and when the shop pulled the head, the side that wasnt blown had 2 cylinders all scorred up. So rather than thrown labor money into that engine, I had a fresh 6.2L dropped into her, with some internal improvments. I had Diesel Depot balance the bottom end, main stud girdle, ARP head studs, Mahle ceramic head and teflon skirted pistons and a new harmonic ballancer. I got the truck back 2 weeks ago and its a blast to drive her. The original owner had just put new Michelin radials on her and 4 Monroe shocks. She drive as straight as a new truck, no rattles or squeaks. Here are all the specs, 1984 GMC Sierra Classic heavy half ton, 6.2L diesel, 700r4 trans, 2wd long bed, half running boards (lighted), Sears fog lamps, Sears 40ch Roadtalker CB with twin Hustler mid load antennas, Yeasu 2m Ham Radio with Comet mag mount pig tail antenna on roof, Factory Delco AM/FM radio, I added the rare optional Delco 5 band graphic eq with 40wt boost. She has a reinforced towing bumper, the spare is still up under the back end where it belongs. The previous must have had some work done and they removed the AC compressor, the dryer and the associated plumping. I have the evap core and condensor capped off and ready to use again, so I am looking for the missing ac stuff. Everything works, even the cruise control works flawlessly. Enjoy the pics. Mike and Michele T
