Sat pics (7-26) spindle removal vid and SK8 TRK update!
We've been busy busy on this end! Brandon's new ride needed an altitude adjustment so we got on it straight away.
I have seen a lot of people on the board asking about spindle removal through the years, and I thought this would be a good opportunity for a quick vid. In this Vid the truck is supported by jackstands under the frame while the front suspension is at full droop. The tie rod has already been removed from the spindle and the ball joint nuts have been loosened. I've read where people have fought with these for hours....This one came off in less than 30secs. Early Classic got the call for the 2.5" drop spindles and the 5" drop coils for the back. The shock relocators and the track bar were all fabricated by Brian. Stock height. New and improved! Chuckles, Brian and Brandon did the back end of it Friday evening (while the shop was cooler). Brian and I finished up the front half early this morning. ( I didn't do much.....Brian's gotten pretty good at this now that he's had his hand in so many of em!) Here's a couple pics I shot today while we were on our way to the parts store. |
