Better steering

I'm on my 3rd steering box and am not really happy with the way the 67 steers.
The one in it now is the "quick ratio" box. Around town, under 45mph it's great but it's too sensitive above that. Plus it has the typical slack of the old days... I can drive it ok but my 16 year old daughter is going to be driving it back and forth to school and I'd like it to be better.

Anybody have a good suggestion... variable steering box of 73+?
