well my first tank that went inside the cab had a Good Seal on all the lines coming out and a vented gas cap...

so next step was to take the tank out...

Hooked up with the air compressor aand a Squirt bottle andfilled with soapy water (at least it was gonna get clean) PROBLEM SOLVEED!

What had looked like surface rust was where i guess water inside my tank had ate thru the metal and "perforated" my tank back where you would never notice.. put in a new tank problem solved..


oh yeah sometimes i still get a whiff but the tanks in the cab and me and my truck both arent perfect so we deal with it.
