Intro - My Rig

If I sound grateful to you all, that’s because I am.

I found this forum one night while in the process of attempting to determine the value of my 1970 fleetside… so I could sell it.

I started reading… then kept on reading…then kept on reading… three (3) hours later and two (2) hours after my bedtime, I was inspired to keep my truck.

I’ve been reading and lurking ever since and in the meantime have spent over $2000.00 fixing and improving the rig and enjoyed every (almost) minute of it! Would have sold the truck had it not been for the stellar information, enthusiasm and good will I have found here.

Here are some pictures as of today.

Note:::::::> Most of that $2000.00 is still sitting in the garage... now, I am replacing the front light wire loom, which caught on fire... because I wasn't paying attention when I replaced the alternator... and some wires melted on the exhaust header... and then certain wires crossed.... and then poof, one self-inflected wound to fix.

Thanks again folks.
