I'm trying to find out the gear ratios on my original 3-Speed Manual Trans in my '72 C-10.

I know 1st gear is 2.85 and I guess all I need to know is 2nd as, of course, 3rd will be 1.00.

Also trying to find out what kind of trans it is. I'm not sure if it is a Muncie or not.

I'm thinking of changing over to the new Muncie 4-Speed trans with 3rd having a ratio of 1.00 and an overdrive gear in place of 4th.

Any info would be appreciated.
