Blazer tank swap
After a lenghty chat with Brandon (thanks a million!) and some back and forth with a friend (the 77 Vette guy), it looks like the root of my truck not running is the piso fuel cell I've got in the bed. I've always wanted to put in a Blazer tank like Chris, so that looks like my next project.
I've read and reread Chris's site and have that method understood. My friend seems to think that if you take all the mouting and brackets from a donor Blazer, you should be able to just drop it right in. Anyone know if this is true? I looked at JC Whitney and they have new tanks for $167 which isn't bad, but I'm wondering if they come with the sending unit or not, and how much extra that would be. They offer a 25 and 31 gallon unit. Would the 31 fit? Chris and anyone else with experience please give me some tips. I've got to get going on this so I can hear the 305 roar again!
