5-speed transmission for 292

I just picked up another 292 for my 69 and will eventually put the 292 that's currently there into my 66 C-60. I guess I have a couple of questions about this...I searched and couldn't find any useful info.

1. Will the 4 speed (w/ granny gear) work behind the 292 in the 2-ton truck?

2. For the 292 that I'm going to rebuild and put in my 69 short/step...what is a good 5-speed transmission that will still be good for pulling loads and just to be used on a work truck?

I was going to leave the 4 speed in my 69, but bought the 2 ton a couple of months back and still want to use my 69 as a work truck, but would also like better gearing for the highway and road trips as my 66 will be the real work horse when I get it running.

Thanks,
Keith
