That also has a lot to do with what part of the country you are in, I can imagine in the north east that many more chasis cabs would be ordered than in texas, due to the fact that there are more city "delivery" style vehicles there, where as in texas the lions share get ordered with beds and often times are yanking a goose neck, or a trailer load of oil field equipment.

It is like how when I go to montana I will score a couple of Dana 60's cheap, but in texas they are about impossible to find because no one here has the need for a 4x4 1 ton, and those who do, well they arent too fond of the idea of selling them.
