1961 Chevy question

Hello,
I'm picking up my first restoration project tomorrow. I'll be flying to Denver to pick it up and then driving her back home to KC. It is a 1961 3/4 ton with 4 speed on the floor and a 327 under the hood.
What do you think would be the average crusing speed? I don't want to run her too hard through Kansas, but do you think 65-70 mph would be about right? I'm just trying to figure how long it will take.
Thanks in advance and for any other input.

Once I get home I'll post some pictures.

Joe
