Adding fuel pump

I want to add an inline electric fuel pump and regulator soon to my blazer while I'm doing an engine swap. Thinking of also adding 50 to 100 shot of nitrous somewhere down the road but I don't want to get too crazy with reinventing the fuel system. What are some things to look out for or any suggestion ya'll may have?
It's a '72 2 wheel drive with factory tank and lines, currently mechanical fuel pump. Thanks, I feel a ton of question coming on during this swap. Thanks in advance.
