1967 Chevy 292 questions

So I just pulled this 67 chevy short bed out of the garage. It only has 30,000 miles on it and we are the second owner so I thought it would be cool to keep it all original. It has the 292 in it and i heard it has ~180hp stock? Now my plans were to put a new intake, carb, headers, distributer, cam and maybe some head work.

What kind of hp gains will i see from this?

Should i go with the two 1BBL carbs or a 4BBL setup? What kind of difference is there?

Is it possible to see 300hp out of this motor?

Also of the above listed parts, which brands would you go with?

Any help would be appreciated.
