No VIN tag, have ?? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hello, I recently acquired a frame with a matching title, previous owner said that he was going to look for the vin tag, so far he hasn't been able to find it and I don't think he will, my questions are, Can I use this frame and title in a truck without the vin tag? I know that in this state they're not that strict about having a vin tag on the cab (or so I think

) and is illegal to make one, I also know that the glove box door has the sticker with the VIN number on it, if I get all this together (matching frame, title, glove box) would I be ok? or is the frame and title worthless without the VIN tag?
