Re-arching Springs?

Hello 4x4 forum, Newbie here. I am needing front 10" springs for my 69 4x4 build but can't seem to find any. Superlift has a 8" spring. One company told me that they could re-arch the 8" to a 10" spring. My question is will the springs sag over time and won't this change the spring length? Another lift company has told me I could use 73-87 springs with 1" longer shackles on my 69 swb 4x4. Any truth to this?
