new lower stance, front shock mounts ;)

A couple months ago I installed the bags on Hollywood, and like most the bags rubbed the lower arms. So I set out to find some stock lowers and make the necessary mods to eliminate the interference as well get a little lower. Job is done, minus some thin Energy Suspension bumpstops that should arrive tomorrow.

the gratuitous "old school" rendering

the lower arms - which ended up looking pink, I was going for red oxide, oh well. 5/16" thick tubing sunk in the stock lower arms.

and the new upper shock mounts

the upper shock mounts may look odd, and I cant say I have seen anyone else go the route I did. Hollywood was converted to a NP435 trans out of a 94' Chevy truck, and it also inherited the hydraulic clutch. SO...the bracket that attaches to the top of the frame was no longer needed. Looked like a good spot for a new adjustable upper shock mount...we'll see how it works out.

Enjoy!
