converting 69 drums to 71 disk NEED HELP!

I am almost complete with my conversion and need some advice on proper assembly.

My truck is a 1969 C20, Custom Camper Special, with 350 and TH400, I've got a Dana 60 tracklock with 3:54 ring and pinion.

The last thing to hook up is the steering linkage. I have the drag link (off the '71) all hooked up to the pitman and idler arms and I am stuck trying to figure out where the tie rods go. All 4 tie rods that came off the 69 are equal length. The tie rods for the '71 are different. 2 are short and 2 are long. I don't have a diagram to go by or instruction on which goes where. I assume one short one and one long one on each side. I assume the long tie rod is the inner since the zerk fitting is comeing right off the end of the rod and this would make it easier to access where the short tie rods have zerk fitting on the back of the "socket".

If anyone can set me straight I'd really appreciate it. Also, any suggestion on the most sensible solution to solve the issue that my existing brake lines will not attach to the new '71 proportioning valve since the orientation and position is different. Make custom? or is there an off the shelf solution?
